The Da-Lite DL16524 Screen Controller is an essential accessory for Da-Lite motorized projection screens, compatible with both integrated and external low voltage control systems. This versatile controller allows for remote screen operation via TCP/IP connection, VPI (Video Projector Interface) Trigger, Dry Contact, and RS232 Communication. It is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), requiring a connection to an ethernet switch that provides PoE+ power (30W minimum). If your switch lacks this power or you prefer not to use an ethernet connection, a PoE injector is necessary. The Screen Controller features a web interface for initial setup, administrative control, and operation. It is compatible with the Vaddio Deployment Tool, which scans the network for Vaddio and Da-Lite devices, lists them by model and IP address, identifies unconfigured devices, and provides controls for initial setup. Optional kits are available to add a wireless remote, including an IR remote transmitter and receiver or an RF (BLE) remote that pairs directly with the Screen Controller. Each kit can be purchased with or without a Luxul XPE-2500 PoE injector.
